This return of Cristiano Ronaldo to Old Trafford is not quite what Manchester United fans will have been hoping for but there is no doubt that the former Manchester United midfielder will get a warm reception at the Theatre of Dreams. Ronaldo will lead a new look Portugal out against an Argentina team led by his arch nemisis Lionel Messi. Both teams come into this game off the back of a win although Portugal's came at the weekend in a competitive qualifier while Argentina beat Croatia in a friendly in Upton Park on Wednesday last. Portugal and new manager Fernando Santos will be looking to keep the momentum going after winning their qualifier this weekend. Portugal obviously are reliant on the quality of Cristiano Ronaldo, but with Nani, Quaresma, Mouthino, Carvalyho there is no shortage of experience and talent.
The World Cup finalist Argentina will be led by captain Messi alongside Sergio Aguero up front, the Manchester City striker will be playing in his clu's arch enemy's ground and will be sure to get some boo's from the fans. Argentina have a ridiculous depth of talent with Angel Di Maria, Tevez (Juventus) , Higuain (Napoli) , Mascherano (Barcelona) all plying their trade at the top clubs across Europe. Di Maria has quickly become a fan favourite at Old Trafford and will be sure to get some love from the Manchester United fans in attendence.

This should be a cracking game of football. I have to say I am surprised by the line and in my opinion the bookmakers are on the wrong side going with Portugal as favourites but my favourite bet of the game will be both teams to score. With CR7 and Messi on the pitch we should see plenty of attempts on goal from both teams. I will be taking a small interest in Argentina to win but will have a nice unit bet on both teams to score.
