Huge game for Manchester City on Saturday as they host Swansea city at the Ethiad Stadium. Manchester City will face Bayern Munich, Southampton, Sunderland and Everton over the next three weeks. Manuel Pelligrini's team simply must get a win on Saturday against a Swansea team that have really struggled away from home, losing three of their last five and only winning one away game all season. The only win Swansea atually had was in Manchester against City's crosstown rivals Manchester United. Gary Monk's side are heavily reliant on Wilfred Bony up front and Sigurddson in midfield with Dyer and Routledge providing some goals from the wings as well. Swansea will need to be defensively astute on Saturday as Manchester City are in general very very good at home. Having lost just three of the last thirty four home games.
Manchester City are also heavily reliant on oneplayer as the brilliant Sergio Aguero is the key man for City. Aguero has scored a ridiculous twelve goals in eleven games, with Eden Dzeko forgetting where the goals are its just lucky that Aguero has been so prolific. Stefan Jovetich will surely be the one to partner Aguero going forward as Jovetich just looks the better player and better suited to the way city play. Ya Ya Toure has not been playing at the same high standard that City fanshave been used to but is still a major player for City and will be needed to combat against a good hard working swansea midfield.
Manchester City's ridiculous home record means that there is nearly never any value involved in taking them at home. There does seem to be some value on the draw at half time though at 6/4. Swansea have been drawing at half time in four of their five away games this year. Manchesty City have been drawing in three of their five home games this year so the only obvious value in the market lies here. Take the draw at half time and follow me on twitter@antonpippo
