Super Sunday travels to the KC Stadium in Hull where Hull City will host Tottenham Hotspur. Hull will be looking to get back on track after losing their last two in the Premier League. The tigers were unlucky in both of those games losing by a solitary goal at Burnley and at home to high flying Southampton. Hull will be looking to Diame, Jelavich and Robbie Brady going forward. Steve Bruce will have been very happy with Brady's brilliant performance for ireland last tuesday night and may give the young Irish man the start on Sunday on the back of that performance. Hull are very solid defensively as one would expect from a Steve Bruce managed team and it is this defence that has given Hull its success this year.
While Tottenham have won three of the last five in all competitions they have lost three of the last four in the Premier League. Manuel Pochettino has had a tough learning curve with Spurs this year. Its been a tough ask for the Argentine as he gets is trying to give Tottenham the stability it hasnt had for the last few years. Tottenham are lacking players up front but have one of the most talented midfields in the league. Lamela, Erickson , Chadli are all tremendous young players and the future for Tottenham may be bright if they can get themselves a couple of strikers. Adebayor , Soldado and Kane just dont seem like they will be the answer although Kane is young and should probably be given time.
This one should be a really good game. I am taking both teams to score as I like what both teams have through the middle and in midfield. I dont love either's strike force but I think that the midfields can provide the goals. Follow me on twitter@antonpippo
