Hamburger SV play host to bottom of the table Stuttgart on Tuesday in a relegation six pointer at the Imtech Arena. Hamburger have risen from bottom of the table to fifteenth with two wins and a draw in the last four. Hamburg have also won their last three at home. Rafael Van Der Vaart has scored the winner in two of the last three home games and three of the last four wins that hamburg have had. Van Der Vaart is obviously the best player on the Hamburg squad but with Behrami and Holtby they have both experience and young talent. Lasogga provides the outlet up front but has struggled to score goals this year.
Stuttgart look to take on Hamburg knowing that a win could take them out of the relegation zone and level on points with tomorrow night's opponents. Key men for Stuttgart will be Harnik and Werner and Stuttgart coach Stevens will be looking for them to start putting in better performances after just taking over for the second time. Stuggart need to start getting some results though with four losses in their last six that isrelegation type of form and Stevens as head coach will know that. This type of game against another struggler is one that they must win.
I am taking the home team to get the win here, they have looked good at home and this would be their fourth in a row. Hamburg and Stuttgart are two big teams and being involved in a relegation battle will not have been in either's mind at the start of the season. Take Hamburger SV and Van Der Vaart to get another win and move further away from the relegation zone.
