Rough game here for Aston Villa as they host a Manchester United team who have won six on the bounce. Aston Villa after winning two on the bounce and going unbeaten in four straight lost a west midlands derby to WestBromwich Albion last weekend although that loss was more due to the sending off of Kieran Richardson in the first half than their opponents. Villa will look to Christian Benteke and Agbonlahor to get at a United defence that at times this season have looked vulnerable. Of course behind that shaky defence is probably the best keeper in the world right now in David De Gea so even if you get in behind the defence your not guaranteed of scoring. Missing Tom Cleverly due to the loan arrangement with Manchester United will probably mean that youn Jack Grealish starts in the middle for Paul lamberts men, Grealish looks a quality propect and it will be interesting to see how he fares if he does get the start here.
Louis Van Gaal's team have won six in a row and closed the gap at the top of the Premier League from eighteen points to eight. a remarkable six game streak has seen them beat Arsenal, Liverpool and look like a contender again without the services of Angel Di Maria, Ramadal Falcao and half of their defence. Robin Van Persie, Wayne Rooney and Juan Mata have formed an attacking trio that has been devestatingly effective. With Fellaini providing the physical presence in midfield this is a squad that looks capable of finishing in the top four and maybe even competing for a title although I do think that its probably a year too early for title talk. The important thing noe for United is that they continue to win games.
Taking the overs here, while United have been irrisistable going forward they have given up chances and I think Benteke and Villa can take one or two of those chances, I still think United will win this game but it has a 3-1 feel to it. Taking the overs big here.
