Manchester City will look to go top of the Premier League on Saturday when they face Crystal Palace at the Ethiad. Crystal Palace though come into the game in decent form with only one loss in their last five, the problem for Palace this season especially away from home has been scoring goals. The strikers combined have only managed seven goals which will not be enough for survival, Jedinak has contributed five goals from midfield but three have come from the penalty spot. Neil Warnock though has always had a knack of being able to get his team up for these big games as proven by Palace's performances against Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool. Look for Palace to keep this one tight and try to hit City on the break with Zaha and Gayle's pace.
While Manchester City have won seven in a row they are now missing both Aguero and Dzeko. It looks like Jovetich will start up front pr POzo but either way neither have looked prolific in recent weeks and Manchester City have actually struggled to score winning their last three home games by a solitary goal. City though do have an extreme strength in depth and with Nasri, Silva and lampard in the midfield there are creative players who will produce chances for the strikers. At the back City look like they will be missing Vincent Kompany with a hamstring injury, the pace of both Zaha and Gayle could cause serious problems for City's back line and to be honest this one could be a banana skin if City arent 100% concentrated on the job at hand.
The Handicap here of +2 for Crystal Palace looks too good for me to ignore. At worst I think we end with a push, but I do think that Palace can cause a surprise here and hold the Champions for the majority of the game.
