Super Sunday comes from Anfield as Liverpool play host to Arsenal.Liverpool won midweek against Bournmouth a much needed win that took some of the pressure off Brendan Rodgers, the under pressure Liverpool boss will look to Raheem Sterling to again lead the line for Liverpool with Markovich more than likely starting alongside him upfront. Liverpool have been poor this season the loss of Daniel Sturridge and Luis Suarez was impossible to replace but Mario Balotelli has not thus far delivered on the promise he showed both at Inter Milan and Manchester City. Defensively Mignolet has lost his position in goals and Lovren has been relegated to the bench while Rodgers can not be blamed for all of the problems he has struggled in the transfer market.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger was under similar pressure to Rodgers a couple of weeks ago, fans were singing for his exit after a terrible couple of performances against Swansea and Manchester United. Olivier Giroud, Santi Cazorla and Alexis Sanchez have started to kick into gear for the Gunners and with it Arsenal have risen up the table again. Arsenal can close the gap on Southampton, West Ham and Manchester United with a win in Anfield. Historically a tough place to go Arsenal will use this game as a measuring stick for how well there team is going and if there has been any improvement this season. Arsenal were humbled here last year when Liverpool destroyed them in the first half.
I like the overs here, Liverpool looked much better on Wednesday night with Sterling through the center and Arsenal have been far from impressive defensively , especially away from home. Arsenal though with Wellbeck, Sanchez and Giroud have looked excellent going forward and I think that the Gunners look more than capable of scoring a couple agaisnt this Liverpool defence who have been at sea at times this year.
