The King Power stadium will be the venue as Leicester City host Tottenham Hotspur. Tottenham will look to continue their remarkable run of form away from home where they have won three of the last four in the league, amazingly they have scored the winner in the last minute of all three of those games. Christian Erikson is the main player for Tottenham right now and has scored the winner in the last two away games. When Erickson plays well Tottenham seem to click, with Soldado and Kane finding a partnership and more importantly scoring goals Tottenham could be set for a new year charge for the Champions League spots. Lamela and Chadli are also key players and Pochettino will be hoping to keep winning games starting here against a Leicester team that have now lost nine of the last ten.
While Christmas is always a busy schedule and an important time for everyone in the Premier League it is even more important for those at the bottom of the table. Quiet often this is when teams become detached from the pack and end up isolated. At the moment Leicester are in serious peril lieing bottom of the table six points from safety and having lost nine of their last ten the Foxes look like a lost cause at the moment. Scoring goals has become a major problem for Nigel Pearson side and Ulloa seems their only likely goalscorer. With six goals this season he is currenlty the teams top scorer and will need to find the net much more if Leicester are to survive, although he will need help from Vardy, Nugent and Schlupp. Can Leicester pull off a Christmad miracle at home? Or will Tottenham find a way to win on the road?
Hard to call this one. I have very little confidence in backing Leicester, I had a go at backing them a few weeks back when they looked set to give Liverpool a game but a couple of early goals and a sending off left them fighting an up hill battle . Tomorrow they face a jekyl and hyde Tottenham who go from brilliant to brutal game to game and often within the same game. I think that Soldado and Kane though have started to find a rythm and with Erickson and Lamela in midfield I think Pochettino is starting to find a balance. At 11/10 Spurs look the value bet here and thats where my money will be going.
