Sunderland host Hull City at the Stadium of light in what should be a relegation cracker. With Sunderland picking up eleven of their ninteen points over the last eight games and unbeaten in seven of those eight one could say this is the wrong time to be heading north to take on the Black Cats. Gus Poyet does seem to have turned things around somewhat and the team is defending far better. As a unit Sunderland are tough to beat and their only defeat of the last eight games was to champions Manchester City. With Conor Wickham and Stephen Fletcher playing well up front and a solid defence it is easy to see why Sunderland have started to pick up points. Fletchere and Wickham will be a handful for any team on their day and Hull will be hard pressed to contain them tomorrow.

After losing six of their last eight Hull City are in free fall, Steve Bruce knows his side must start to pick up points from somewhere as they have fallen into the relegaton zone and are in danger of staying there. A win here could theoretically take Hull City out of the relegation zone but with Livermore and Huddlestone suspended and a Diame out injured it is tough to see how Hull get a result here in Sunderland. Bruce will look for Robert Brady, Jelavich and Hernandez to deliver the scores that can win this game for Hull but it is going to be a big ask for the Tigers.

I cant really see Hull getting anything from this one. At evens Sunderland look a really solid bet and I am going to take the Black Cats to get the win here. Take the home side and maybe give the circumstances a little bet on sunderland -1 might pay well.
