Coppa Italia action tonight from the Juventus Stadium as Juve host Hellas Verona in what could be an intriguing encounter. Hellas Verona have only lost once in their last five away games and have managed to get on the scoresheet in five of those six games. With Luca toni being their main threat up front they will always have a chance as the Veteran striker has managed to revive his career at 37 years of age. Toni netted twenty goals last season in thirty four games and although on a slower pace this year he has still managed six goals in eighteen games this year. Toni will be the main threat for Hellas Verona along with Nene and Lopez. Verona can make this interesting and will not be easily beaten, the question is can Juve break them down?
Juventus come into this game in fine form unbeaten in their last twelve competitive games. Tevez and Vidal have come into fine goalscoring form and the team has benefitted from the winter break coming back fresh. Pogba, Pirlo and vidal have been excellent of late and will look to exploit Verona if they play three through the middle. This is going to be an interesting game and the two teams face each other again this weekend so whether or not we see Juventus full team tonight I doubt we will.
I actually like the underdogs here. I have a feeling Hellas Verona will be more up for this cup tie than Juventus and expect that the stadium will be half empty tonight. I am going to take Hellas Verona +2 on the handicap. This could be a potential banana skin for the Champions although I expect them to sneak through with a win by the minimum.
