One of the under dogs for the tournament that I think have a real chance of going deep in the knockout stages is Gabon. Led by Borussia Dortmund's Patrick Aubeymeyang Gabon are a team that will cause problems for the big sides. Fast pace counter attack added to the quality striker in Aubeymeyang is a good mix and with Evouna added up front this Gabon side are definitely one of my underdogs for the tournament. Gabon with a win here would be the first team to qualify for the knockouts stages.
Congo have disappointed thus far in the tournament, struggling against the host Equatorial Guinea in the opening game only equalising in the last three minutes with Bifouma finding the net. Ndinga is one of the key players for Congo the Olympiakos midfielder will be a main threat coming from midfield if Congo are to cause problems for Gabon. Congo's coach Claude Le Roy has plenty of experience in this tournament and has led Congo here after taking over in December 2013.
This is an interesting game on paper and one that I think should be worth sitting in to watch. I am going to take Gabon to get the win though as I think they have that extra bit of quality up front and that should tell in the end. Aubeymeyang should be a game winner for Gabon and take them through to the knockout stages.
