After back to back losses in the final of the African Cup of Nations the Ivory Coast will be looking to finally get over the line and win this competition. Their opening game was a frustrating one with them failing to take their chances and then losing Gervinho to a red card. Led by Manchester City pair Bony and Toure, the Ivory Coast will create chances. There is an abundance of talent up front for the Ivory coast with Kalou, Doumbia, Gervinho and the aformentioned Bony. While disappointing in the opening round I think they will get it together for this game against a Mali side that surprised Cameroon in their opening game.
With Mali surprising Cameroon in the opening game I dont think they will have that surprise factor on Saturday evening and will be looking to Roma midfielder Keita to take the fight to Ivory Coast in the midfield. With Mail very solid defensively they will look to hold a solid formation and try to hit Ivory Coast on the counter attack. My only worry would be can Mali create problems for the Ivory Coast defensively.
I like the value here on the Ivory Coast, although disappointing in their opening round I think they get it right on Saturday and gets the win that brings them to the cusp of qualification.
