Arsenal will look to bounce back from their North London Derby defeat to Tottenham when they take on Leicester City at the Emirates. Arsene Wenger's side were poor at the weekend with Tottenham outplaying them for most of the game even though Arsenal took the lead. With Ozil back in the line up Arsenal have a plethora of attacking talents Cazorla, Giroud and Ramsay were all quiet against Tottenham but one would expect a better performance on Tuesday against a Leicester City team that are anchored to the bottom of the league table. Arsenal's main problems are still a suspect defence that was torn apart at times by the inventive play of Erickson and the hard work of Kane.
Leicester City will have seen Tottenham's game plan as a way to open up Arsenal and with Ulloa a similar hard working top man they might just have the players to implement it. Nigel Pearson was sacked on Saturday and then seemingly re instated in what was a farcical bit of PR by the club. To be honest Pearson has done a decent job with limited funds. Leicester have played well at times and definitely deserved more from the game against Palace at the weekend but goals win games and at the moment Leicester just cant score enough.
Rumours abound that Alexis Sanchez will also return for Arsenal for this fixture, as if things were not going to be tough enough for Leicester. With a full squad to pick from Arsenal have some really exciting players here. Ozil, Cazorla, Sanchez, Ramsey, Walcott and Giroud. This one could be a mauling and Nigel Pearson may find himself without a job by Wednesday morning. Taking Arsenal -1,-2 and up to -3 here. The Gunners could make Leicester pay for their own poor performance against Tottenham.
