The game of the night in the Championship will see Bournemouth take on Derby at the Goldsands Stadium in a first v second battle. Bournemouth are top of the division on goal difference as two of the underdogs battle for dominance in a division that could still go anyway. Bournemouth are slight favourites here but they face a Derby team that have won four in a row. Howe's side are led by Wilson, Pittman and Ritchie but rather than individual brilliance this is a team effort from 1-11. In fact Bournemouth are the epitomy of a sum of a teams parts being better than its individuals. This is going to be a huge game for Bournemouth as a win will take them three clear of Derby. Middlesbrough have an intriguing away game at Blackpool who are desperately fighting for survival. Wilson has netted fourteen in twenty eight and will be the key man for Bournemouth up front.
Tom Ince made a remarkable start to his loan spell at Derby scoring twice on his debut. Steve McClaren's side had a big 4-1 win at the weekend with Jeff Hendricks netting the other two goals. With Chris Martin and Darren Bent up top Derby have plenty of firepower and they will be relishing this game with Bournemouth. To be fair Steve McLaren has done a terrific job since taking over and is looking to lead Derby back to the promised land of the Premier League. There is still along way to go in the season but there is no doubt the plaudits Mclaren will recieve at the end of this season.
Huge game here on a huge night in the Championship. Both of these teams will fancy their chances of getting the win here and to be honest this game could be a better watch that most of the Premier League games on Tuesday. I am going to take both teams to score as I think both of these teams have really good offences and this one should be a goalfest.
