Manchester United host Burnley on Wednesday with both teams dropping points on Sunday with draws but the difference in their draws was drastic. Burnley led 2-0 but were dragged back by West Brom on Sunday in what was a devestating draw. Danny Ings was absolutely superb for the Clarets at the weekend setting one up and scoring one but really the way things are going for Burnley at the moment it looks like Ings will be in the Premier League but it will be at a different club. Dyche must get his team to close out games as last weekend was the third time this season that they have not won after leading by two goals.
With Manchester United dropping points at West Ham last weekend they dropped from third to fourth and are now within snapping distance of Arsenal, Tottenham and Liverpool. Louis Van Gaal is still searching for the right balance in his side, he has finally realised that Van Persie and Falcao must start when fit and Rooney and Di Maria are being played as auxillary midfielders. The most important player in the team though has been Daley Blind a defensive player that has popped up with vital goals a couple of times this season , Blind is the glue that binds the team and along with De Gea has been the most impressive players this season. But if Manchester United are going to finish in the top four its going to be because of the top four, Van Persie, Falcao, Di Maria and Rooney is an exceptional quartet and tomorrow in Old Trafford they should get the better of a Burnley side that have been struggling defensively.
Taking Manchester United -1 here, Burnley did hold United earlier in the season but that was a team that hadnt played together alot and United have had their struggles on the road this season. In Old Trafford though United have been excellent and I expect another big performance here.
