Championship action on Tuesday night with Blackburn traveling to Cardiff to take on the bluebirds. Can Blackburn get an away win that will move them close to a playoff spot or will CArdiff  get a much needed win to move away from the relegation zone? At the weekend Blackburn got a terrific win over Stoke in the FA Cup, the game turned on its head when Stoke's Cameron was sent off coming up to halftime and a penalty awarded. Gestede notched his fifteenth of the season in converting the penalty and that went along with King's hattrick to hand out a 4-1 win for Blackburn. With Gustede and Rhodes up front there is a serious talent in Blackburn up front. Blackburn have probably under performed this season and the playoffs are probably a little out of reach but a win here and who knows, anything is possible in the Championship.

Cardiff City would have been one of the pre season favourites for the Championship but the team has really under perfromed and are in a serious dogfight at the bottom of the Championship. Trying to avoid a relegation dog fight is noe top of the agenda. Kenwyn Jones and Macheda are the go to men up front and while Jones has notched double figures in goals, Macheda has struggled. Cardiff in general have struggled to score goals though and while they are probably not going to get caught up in the relegation battle they must start to pick up a few points. With just two points from their last six games Cardiff are in need of a big result and Tuesday could provide that opportunity.

Going to take both teams to score here as I like what I see up front for blackburn and I think that Blackburn's defence will also have a tough time handling Kenwyn Jones. Nine of the last twelve Cardiff home games have had both teams score, Nine of the last eleven away games for Blackburn has seen both teams score.
