Burnley came under alot of heat this week for their rough house tactics at Chelsea last weekend but the Claret fans wont care if those tactics can get another three points against Swansea on Saturday evening. Burnley players were responsible for some pretty poor tackling in Stamford Bridge and Ashley Barnes was blessed to avoid a straight red card for an awful tackle on Matic. At the same time Burnley defended well, stuck to their game plan and came away from the game with a point which is a terrific result for the relegation strugglers. Dyche will look for his star man Danny Ings to lead the way at Turfmoor on Saturday and with boyd, Vokes and Barnes also there to chip in Burnley are going to fancy their chance of turning over a Swansea City team that have lost six of their last ten away Premier League games.
Swansea though do come into this game off the back of a 2-1 win over Manchester United at home and a good all round performance in that game will have pleased Gary Monk and the Swansea faithful. Since losing Wilfred Bony to Manchester City in the January transfer window the Swans have needed other players to step up to the mark. Ki has netted three goals in the period since Bony left and Gomis got the winner last weekend although there was a slice of luck about it. Swansea will themselves go to Burnley confident that they can get something from this game.
This is one of those games that could go anyway. I have though been impressed with the way Burnley have gone about their business of late and even though they have lost three of their last five I think that the Clarets are going to pick up some wins that move them out of the relegation zone. So I am taking Burnley to get the win here.
