Can Manchester City bounce back from their loss at Liverpool when they host Leicester City on Wednesday night in the Ethiad? Nigel Pearson's Leicester have been dubbed the unluckiest team in the Premier League this season by ex Arsenal forward Paul Merson and to be honest I think he might be right. Leicester have played well in an awful lot of games without getting a result. Cambiasso has proven to be an excellent signing as the ex Inter Milan midfielder is still a quality player and has been brilliant for the foxes ths season. This though is a really tough game for Leicester going to the Champions who have just lost two games in a row.
Manchester City will be looking to Sergio Aguero to turn things around for them as they have suffered two defeats in a row in the Chsults ampions League and league. Aguero is City's best player and along with David Silva and Ya Ya Toure he is at the heart of everything that Manchester City do well. On Sunday he had an off day against Liverpool with regard to his finishing but he still managed to set up City's goal with a beautiful through ball to Eden Dzeko. Manchester City manager Manuel Pelligrini is probably feeling the heat now as the Champions look likely to go out of the Champions League and are going to struggle to retain their Premier League crown.
This one is a tough game to call. Manchester City are heavy favourites but they have not impressed of late Leicester have put in some great performance in recent weeks but have still lost four of their last five. I am tempted by Leicester +2 on the handicap, I just feel like eventually their luck is going to change and they will get a couple of results but I'm just not sure this is a good spot for them, especially with Manchester City having lost two in a row and really needing both a big performance and a result. I'm going to take Leicester on the half time handicap +1 I think at worst we push, Leicester have managed to be ahead of drawing in nine of their fourteen away games and those stats give me confidence that this one could be a winner.
