Arsenal tavel to Manchester to take on United in the best game of the Quarter finals of the FA Cup. Arsene Wenger has been accused of coming up short in the big match over the last five years but people should remember this is an Arsenal team that won the FA Cup last season and they have come into good form at the right time of the season and are up to third in the league table. Ozil, Cazorla and Giroud will be looking to continue their strong form and Danny Wellbeck will be looking to impress on his return to Old Trafford. This is a game Arsenal will definitely feel that they can win as Manchester United have been anything but impressive of late.
Louis Van Gaal has had a difficult time adjusting to English football and his team has had a hard time being consistant performance wise. Results wise though Manchester United have been very consistant United have won twelve of fifteen home games and Old Trafford is again becoming what would have to be described as a fortress. With Rooney, Falcao and Di Maria there is bundles of attacking talent at Van Gaal's disposal the question is can they do it against a top team. United have been accused of playing a long ball game at times this season and when Fellaini is on the pitch there is an element of hoof it up field and look for the breaks but in general United have tried to play with the ball on the ground and Di Maria, Herrera and Blind are all key figures for United in their first season at the club. The re emergence of Ashley Young has been a plus for Van Gaal and the winger has been terrific at times.
This is a huge game for both clubs and one neither team will want to lose. Manchester United at home have definitely been a different beast than they are away from Old Trafford but this United team did go to the Emirates and win. It's been nine years since Arsenal have beaten Manchester United in Old Trafford, that run is bound to end sometime. This could be night for it as on paper Arsenal look to have a stronger team but this is Manchester United and the FA Cup, both teams have a storied history in the competition and this one could be a classic. I'm going to take both teams to score in what should be a terrific encounter.
