Arsenal take on West Ham on Saturday in another London Derby, every week there seems to be an enthrawlling derby to look forward to and this one appeas for a number of reasons. Although West Ham come into this game having lost three of their last four they put in impressive displays against Chelsea and Tottenham and were unlucky not to get something from the last game against Chelsea and were very unlucky not to beat Tottenham in White Hart Lane. With a forward line led by Sakho and Valencia with Alex Song pulling the strings behind West Ham have been impressive and I think tomorrow they will give Arsenal a really good game.
Arsenal have come into this game off the back of a win at Old Trafford against their great rivals Manchester United in an FA Cup game they were lucky to win.Arsenal were also quite lucky to beat QPR but in both games they were guilty of missing quality chances to put the games to bed. With Giroud, Ozil, Sanchez and Cazorla Arsenal have the quality up front to beat most teams and they come into this game looking for a confidence boosting win ahead of a really tough game against Monaco in France. Danny Wellback was the match winner against United pouncing on a mistake by United's defence but it's hard to see how he could start here as Giroud is just the better finisher.
Arsenal are one of the form teams in the league and have risen to third in the table and look an absolute certainty for Champions League football next season. They look a quality team going forward every time I see them play and while they do leave alot to de desired defensively I think they will produce goals in almost every game they play. I'm taking the overs here as a result. I think Arsenal to win and both teams to score could be one of the value bets of the weekend to be honest. But the overs appeals more as a solid straight play.
