Early morning action from Selhurst Park on Saturday as Crystal Palace host QPR. Alan Pardew has done a remarkable job turning around the fortunes of this Crystal Palace side and they were threathening to push into the top half until a recent blip in form which has seen them lost three of their last four. Palace's away form is actually alot stronger than their form at home. Palace have lost seven of their last eleven home games but they do have a favourable match up on Saturday facing a QPR team that have lost thirteen of fourteen away from home this season. Palace have plenty of attacking options with Bolasie. Puncheon, Chamakh, Murray and Zaha and Campbell vying for a start. Campbell is struggling with an injury though and Murray was impressive in his display at West Ham before gettting sent off so I think he will get the nod to start.
With QPR it really is do or die time. If QPR lose again there is a chance they start to become detached from the teams above them and relegation is lookign more and more likely every week. QPR are completely reliant on Charlie Austin up top scoring fifteen of the teams twenty six goals this season. For me the key to whether QPR can stay up or not is Junior Hoilett if the Canadian can reproduce his best form he can be a catalyst for the side and I think he has shown glimpses in recent games of getting back to his best but he needs to start and with QPR going with Zamora and Austin up top Hoiletts pace on the wings can cause problems for defences and create chances for QPR.
I'm going to go against conventional wisdom here and I am going to take QPR on the handicap. The R's can go to Selhurst park and pick up some points, maybe even a surprise win.
