Chelsea look to get back on track after a couple of disappointing results when they travel to the KC Stadium to take on Hull City. Jose Mourhino's men will be looking to get off to a fast start when they take on a Hull City team that have never beaten Chelsea in the Premier League era. With Diego Costa, Hazard and Fabregas all looking to get themselves back to their pre christmas form. Hazard has maintained his high standards but both Costa and Fabregas have slipped of late. Defensively Chelsea have still been rock solid, led by John Terry and the brilliant keeping of Courtois. But there have been chinks in Chelsea's armour especially away from home where they have struggled at times and have lost to Newcastle and drawing with Sunderland, Southampton.
Hull City come into this in strong form losing just one of their last five. The tigers have been led by the goals of Jelavich and Ndoye and they will set up with a 4-5-1 and defending high lines to deny Chelsea the space that they require in midfield. Hull's midfield work hard and they will be tough to break down , Hull is a tough place to go and get a result and Steve Bruce's men will look to make it as difficult as possible. With Livermore, Meyler and Ramirez playing the middle this will be a game where Hull's work rate needs to be 100%, if they can keep the work rate up they can frustrate Chelsea but will also need some luck.
Chelsea need a win to move back to six points ahead of Manchester City, another slip here and the rest of the team's are going to start thinking they can catch them. Mourhino's side will go to Hull and get the win and I think it will probably be by Jose's favourite scoreline 2-0. I'm going to take Chelsea -1 on the handicap for a small play here.
