Action from Ligue 1 on Friday night as Nantes play host to Marseille with both teams struggling for form of late. Nantes have lost three of their last five and dropped to eleventh in Ligue 1. Nantes struggles all season have been up offensively as a team they have just twenty five goals this season the joint worst goals tally in Ligue 1. Veretout and Bammou are their only scorers with more than two goals and they have only six and four respectively. Obviously to be sitting in eleventh with that few goals means that defensively this is a solid team and they are hard to beat at home losing just four of their sixteen home games this season. They face a Marseille team that are joint top scorers on Friday night but Marseille have lost two in a row and dropped to fourth in the league table and are definitely suffering following a demoralising loss to PSG two weeks ago.

Marseille need to get their act together or they are going to miss out on Champions League football next season. Having led Ligue 1 for long periods this season they have now dropped to seven points off the lead and fourth place. With Gignac and Ayew in the side they have match winners and they are the top scorers in Ligue 1 with sixty two goals scored this season. With Batshuayi becoming a bigger part of the offence over the season Marseille have two quality strikers and I think that will be the difference tonight.

Nantes vs Marseille 04/17/2015 Ligue 1 Preview, Odds and Prediction

Going to take Marseille to win here, it is hard to trust a team that is so up and down form wise but the price is right tonight. Marseille given their striking options should be favoured more here at evens they are the value bet and I will be taking them to get the win in Nantes.
