Do or die for PSG tonight as they travel to Spain looking to overturn a 3-1 deficit against Barcelona at the Camp Nou. To give readers an idea of the enormity of the task no team has ever overturned a two goal deficit away from home in the Champions League knockout stages. PSG though do welcome back both Marco Verrati and Zlatan Ibrahimovich and they will make a big difference. PSG were far too timid in the opening leg of this fixture but they know the task they have on hand here. Firstly they must score three goals. With Ibrahimovich, Cavani and Lavezzi the talent is there and this is a Barcelona team that can be got at but I am not sure if PSG can score enough to qualify. One thing is for sure though an early goal for PSG would give the french Champions the confidence they need to go for it.
Barcelona coasted to a 3-1 win in Paris but the second half was dominated by PSG without the french team really being able create much. With Cavani and Ibrahimovich up front the Barcelona rearguard will have to be wary as both just need half a chance to score. Barcelona were led by the brilliant Messi and Suarez the former Liverpool striker was exceptional and scored two cracking individual goals in the first leg. With Barcelona having the Suarez, Messi and Neymar axis it is very difficult to see PSG stopping Barcelona from scoring.
This one should be a cracking contest. I think Barcelona have probably just done enough already to qualify as it is very hard to see this Barcelona team conceding three and losing by two or more at home. But I do think that PSG will get some respect back in this game and the draw at 9/2 is very appealing. However I'm taking both teams to score here as both teams have scored in their last six meetings between the sides. Having a small bet on PSG to win at 13/2 as the price is just too big.
