Leicester City come into this game after winning four of their last five games and moving out of the relegation zone, Newcastle United are in free fall and have lost seven in a row. With players coming back from injury newcastle are gettin healthier but are still missing the suspended Papa Cisse, their best goalscorer. John Carver has been unable to get his side out of their slump and at the end of the season carver will more than likely be looking for a new job. Newcastle have to be careful though a loss here and a win for a couple of other teams under them will leave Newcastle very close to the drop zone, somethin unthinkable when Newcastle beat the previously unbeaten Chelsea in Novmeber which was their seventh win in nine. Right now though Newcastle are out of sorts and with Ayoze and Revilliere really struggling in front of goal they will be hoping the return of Simon De Jong is a spark to their offence.
After their midweek loss against Chelsea Nigel Pearson created a bit of a stir in the press conference by being rather rude and calling a journalist an ostrich. Leicester have won four out of five though and look to be the form team of all the relegation candidates. Led by the experienced Cambiasso and Ulloa up front Leicester work hard for each other and play good football. Vardy was excellent against Chelsea and overall Leicester was unlucky to lose the game 3-1. Leicester though are only one point above the drop zone and Sunderland do have a game in hand. now is not the time for complacency for the foxes.
Simply have to take Leicester here. I think the last few weeks with the two teams and the form of both it is just impossible to take anyone other than Leicester here. This is not going to be easy though and there is no doubt the king power stadium will be a bucket of nerves if this one is close in the last ten minutes. Survival could well depend on the result here for Leicester.
