With both of these team preparing for big tournaments this summer this friendly should be a competitive one! Chile are looking forward to hosting the Copa America for the first time since 1991, with Arsenal superstar Alexis Sanchez leading the line Chile will be looking to take advantage of home advantage and a passionate home crowd. Claudio Bravo captains the team and comes into this game off the back of a successful season with Barcelona. There is a strange situation at Barca where Bravo plays all the league games and the reserve keeper is playing all the Champions League games. Manager Sampaoli will be looking to get his line up right with Vidal playing behind the front two and giving his attacking trio as much support as possible. I think Chile use this game as a sound board for getting themselves in the right frame of mind for the up coming tournament and I think they picked a good game against a tough El Salvador team.
El Salvador may not have many household names in the line up but they will be tough to beat. They play a tough defensive tactic and pack the midfield to stop opposing teams getting space around their box. They will play a counter attacking style and will sit back and invite Chile onto them here. Alas will be key to how well El Salvador do on the ball as the former MLS player will look to get on the ball and orchestrate things from the middle third, he will also be responsable for defending the back four.
As with all friendlies I dont invest too heavily but I am going to take Alexis Sanchez to score anytime here as the Chilean center forward will look to continue his brilliant club form and lead Chile to victory here. Sanchez is available at 1/1 to score anytime here and I think he is a great bet to score.
