Captain: Rodolph Austin (Leeds United)
Star Man: Darran Mattocks (Vancouver Whitecaps)
Key Player: Darran Mattocks
With a first Copa America Jamaica will be nervous and face into one of the toughest groups in the competition with Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay. Jamaica managed to win the Carribean Cup last summer and have actually had a decent run of form being unbeaten in their last five internationals but this is a step up and the Reggae Boyz will struggle to stay competitive in this competition.
while Jamaica do have some quality players with the likes of Mattocks, Marriappa (Crystal Palace) , Austin (Leeds United) and Barnes( Houston) and Dawkins (Derby) I just cant see them doing anything in what looks like one of the toughest groups on paper. This will be a learning experience for them though and should be treated as such as they test themselves against the best in the world in Lionel Messi and Argentina.
