The 2015 Copa America will be a star studded event and here at Sports Chat Place we want to give you all the information on the twelve teams taking part we will have a team profile each day and will of course cover every game of the tournament and provide tips and predictions for tournament bets, group bets and individual match bets. In our eleventh and second last installment we look at Uruguay, the defending Champions who will be hoping to retain their crown without their star man Luis Suarez who is still suspended because of his bite at last year's World Cup.

Copa America - Team profiles - Uruguay- 2015 06/11/2015 Preview, Odds and Overall Prediction

Captain: Diego Godin(Atletico Madrid)

Star Man/Key Player: Edison Cavani (PSG)

Young Player to Watch: Diego Rolan (Bordeaux)

The defending Champions come to Chile without their best player as mentioned above but they do have a tough team who play as a unit and are led by the brilliant Atletico Madrid defender Diego Godin. Godin is a no nonsense tough tackling center half and he will lead by example here for his side. Up top Uruguay will be missing Suarez but in Edison Cavani (PSG) they have one of the best strikers in the world. Cavani will relish the fact that he is now the main man, having played second fiddle to Ibrahimovich all season at club level this should be a welcomed break fro Cavani. Uruguay have some young players though with Rolan in particular a bright spark for the future.

This is a very good side but I cant help but feel they might just be missing that bit of quality that Suarez would provide. I do expect Uruguay to qualify from the group but more than likely as runners up to Argentina and I think they probaby come up short in a quarter final as they are then due to face either Brazil or Colombia (the winners of Group C). Uruguay are no strangers to pulling off shocks at this tournament though so this is one of those ones that I am a little tentative on.
