D.C. United and the New England Revolution meet Sunday at the RFK Stadium.

D.C. United looks to get back on track after splitting its last four games and still leading the Eastern Conference. D.C. United is coming off back-to-back losses for the first time this season. D.C. United relies on its defense, as it’s allowed 16 goals in 17 matches and has allowed one or less goals in 14 of those games. Bill Hamid is one of the top goalies in the league with an impressive 52 saves, but he has allowed a goal in seven straight matches. Offensively, D.C. United was shutout in its Sunday loss to Orlando City SC and has 20 goals overall. Jairo Arrieta leads D.C. United with five goals, Fabian Espindola has four assists and Chris Rolfe has 34 shots. Chris Pontius and Sean Franklin are questionable with injuries.

MLS Soccer: D.C. United vs. New England Revolution Pick, Odds, Prediction - 6/21/15

The New England Revolution look to build on their victory over the Chicago Fire, as it was their first win in six matches. The New England Revolution have scored 22 goals in 16 matches and have scored at least one goal in 11 of those contests. Charlie Davies leads the Revolution with six goals, Scott Caldwell has four assists and Lee Nguyen has 31 shots. Defensively, the Revolution have allowed 22 goals, including two or more goals in six of their matches. Bobby Shuttleworth has come away with 37 saves and has allowed five goals in his last four matches. The New England Revolution are second place in the Eastern Conference and would love a victory here after putting up with so many draws as of late.

These two teams produced a draw in their previous meeting this season last month. Last year, the teams split the meetings with the home team winning each match. D.C. United leads the all-time series with 29 victories.

The home team has had success in these recent meetings but the victory for the New England Revolution should do wonders heading into this match. I like New England to string together its second straight win, especially with D.C. United in a bit of a slump lately.
