The Portland Timbers look to stay red hot after winning four of their last five matches and climbing up the standings. The Portland Timbers are a defensive team that’s allowed 12 goals in of their 17 matches and five goals in their last three matches. Adam Kwarasey has come away with 43 saves and has three shutouts in his last five starts. Offensively, the Portland Timbers have scored seven goals in their last five matches and have been shutout seven times. Fanendo Adi leads Seattle with six goals, Jorge Villafana has three assists and Maximiliano Urruti has 30 shot attempts. The Portland Timbers have won their last three home matches. Dairon Asprilla is questionable with an ankle injury.

The Seattle Sounders have won the last three meetings against the Portland Timbers, including the most recent match in April of this year. Portland’s last win over Seattle came in November of 2013.

It’s only a matter of time before the Portland Timbers snap their long losing streak to the Seattle Sounders. It might as well come at home against a team missing its top player. Give me Portland to remain on fire.
