The Premier League returns on Saturday and Norwich City will host Crystal Palace at Carrow Road. Both teams will be looking for a good start in what is probably the most competitive top league in Europe. Crystal Palace have done some great business in the transfer markter with Alan Pardew adding Cabaye from PSG, Wickham from Sunderland and Patrick Bamford on loan from Chelsea. Palace had an excellent season last year and finished the season as one of the hot teams with Bolasie in particular having a terrific few weeks. Constantly linked with a move away it hasnt happened yet but there is a chance all the speculation has turned his head and he may end up leaving before the window closes. In any case though Palace have a very strong squad to start the season and they will fancy their chances of upsetting Norwich on opening weekend.
Norwich themselves have done ok out of the transfer market with Robbie Brady comign in from Hull, a shrewd signing for the Canaries as Brady's set pieces alone are worth his inclusion in the team. With a solid side led by a strong midfield Bradley Johnson, Mulumbu, Redmond and Cameron Jerome up front Norwich have done well coming back up to the Premier League. This is a side that will like Bournemouth be concentrating on surviving this season and home form is vital for any team that could be in a relegation battle. This is a particularly tough fixture for Norwich given that Crystal Palace have such a strong panel and added the quality they did in the off season.
Tough game to call here. I feel like this one could go anyway and that is shown by the pricing on as there is no real favourite here. I'm going to take both teams to score, I think Norwich might nick this one at home but not willing to take them at this price. Both teams to score is generously priced and thats what I will be on.
