PSG look to continue their perfect start to their Ligue 1 season when they host Bordeaux at the Parc Des Princes on Friday night. PSG have four wins from four with Cavani, Lavezzi and Matuidi in fine form. Zlatan Ibrahimovic played the entire game against Austria on Tuesday after an injury scare at the weekend. Whether Laurent Blanc starts Ibra or not is questionable as Cavani and Lavezzi have been terrific since the start of the season. Matuidi has also firmly established himself as one of the best wingers in France and on the other wing former Real Madrid and Manchester United winger Angel Di Maria is settling into life in Paris. PSG are head and shoulders above every other team in France at the moment and they have bought to get themselves a win in the Champions League.
Bordeaux have had a decent start to the Ligue 1 season with a couple of draws and a win in their first four games. This though is a different task as they face a star studded PSG team. Bordeaux are managed by former Bayern Munich defender Wily Sagnol and he has done a good job since taking over and had a relatively decent season last year. This is a side that is solid defensively but may struggle to score goals. Key men up front Diabate and Rolan have yet to score this season and midfielder Khazri with two goals in three games looks their biggest goal scoring threat.
Hard to take anything but a PSG win here but the prices are no value. Taking PSG -1 on the handicap also does not appear much value and against a solid defensive team the -2 doesnt really appeal to me either. Instead I am going to take PSG to lead at the half. PSG should just have too much depth here for Bordeaux and with the attacking talent at PSG's disposal I would be surprised if they do not take an early lead here.
