Portugal take on Denmark in a Group I game on Thursday and will look to the Ballon D'or winner Cristiano Ronaldo to lead them to victory and guarantee them a place in Euro2016. Portugal started off this group with a loss to Albania but since then have won five games in a row and have been excellent, Portugal are a very good team and have a nice mix of youth and experience. With Silva, Nani, Quaresma and Mouthino all assisting the brilliant Cristiano Ronaldo. At the back they are anchored by former Chelsea defender Ricardo Carvalyho and Real Madrid center half Pepe. This is a team that could go along way in the Euro's.
Denmark have left themselves in a precarious position with regards to automatic promotion. If Denmark fail to beat Portugal then they must rely on Albania not winning against Armenia or Serbia. Morten Olson's side will look to Christian Erikson to lead the way as the Spurs midfielder has had another excellent start to the season and is without doubt Denmark's best player. Nicolas Bendtner is actually playing a bit for Wolfsburg right now but the former Arsenal striker is the key finisher for Denmark, will he be able to get on the scoresheet against a tough Portugal side?
While this one is interesting and should be a tight game I cant see Denmark actually beating Portugal, in fact I think that we are getting just enough value on the home team to take them to get the outright win. Take Portugal to win here.
