Chelsea and Jose Mourhino look to get their season on track after a terrible start when they take on Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon. Chelsea have lost four games in the league already this season, just to put that in perspective that is one more than the lost all of last season. Eden Hazard, last year's player of the year has struggled this season to get himself into games and with the team playing poorly they need their big players to step up. Diego Costa , Fabregas, Hazard have all struggled to get things going and Mourhino has been struggling to get the balance correct as his defenders have made mistakes and his goalkeepers have also caused him headaches. Usually Mourhino's home record is impeccable but this season they have lost twice and drew one of their four home games. The only home win Chelsea have had though came against high flying Arsenal , who were reduced to ten men just before half time. Mourhino has to right the ship here in this one or Chelsea could well be looking for a new manager soon.
Aston Villa sit in the relegation zone and have had a terrible start to the season, Tim Sherwood is under immense pressure similar to his opposite number. Aston Villa have struggled to score goals this season, the off season loss of Christian Benteke has been felt by Villa although their summer signing Rudy Gestede has shown that given chances he can be the spark that Villa need up front. Sinclair, Grealish and Gestede as a front three have the potential to cause problems for Chelsea who right now do not look like the solid defensively sound team that won the league last season.
Going to take the overs here, I think that neither team looks solid defensively and while Aston Villa may come to London looking to park the bus, I think Chelsea will score some goals in this one and Villa definitely can get at a creaky Chelsea defence. Take the overs.
