Probably the game of the weekend in Serie A and the highlight of a Sunday of football on BT Sport will be the meeting of Inter Milan and Juventus on Sunday night. Inter Milan have had a good start to the new season and under Roberto Mancini they look like a team that can compete for the Scudetto, Mancini and his team struggled last season in his return to Serie A but now given a full pre season and time to bring in his own players the team has been impressive and the addition of Jovetich on loan from Manchester City looks to have been one of the best bits of business in Serie A this season. Jovetich is a quality player and his time in England was not really successful for the player but he has shownon his return to Italy that he still is a top class striker. Icardi, Jovetich and Ljaic form a really fearsome triple threat for Inter and they will look to get at a Juventus defence that has been suspect this season.
The Champions come into this game looking to win back to back league games for the first time this season, with just eight points in seven games Juventus have really struggled this year. Looking at the squad and it's hard to understand why as Dybala, Morata and Zaza should be a terrific strikerforce but when your trying to replace Tevez, Vidal and Pirlo it's just very big shoes to fill and th youngsters are struggling a little. Paul Pogba is still probably the best midfielder in Europe and playing alongside former Real Madrid defensive midfielder Kheidera he will have more freedom to play as the attacking midfielder. Juve have quality throughout their squad and with Cheillini and Buffon they have lots of experience and know how.
While I understand that Inter Milan have had a good start to the season and are at home in the San Siro I cant help but fee like we are getting offered a very big price here on A Juventus team that have owned Inter in their head to head games at the San Siro. Of the last four games head to head in the San Siro Juve have won three and drawn one. The stats back us taking Juve here but given how both teams have started the season and with my having watched the last few Inter games and with the excpetion of the loss to Fiorentina I have been very impressed, I am going to take the draw here. I think both teams cancel each other other in what should be a really interesting game to watch.
