The Jose Mourhino Mark II project at Chelsea is in danger of collapse, the Portugese manager of Chelsea is struggling to hold it all together as his team are in a terrible run of form. Another loss at the weekend to West Ham has left the blues sitting in fiftheenth in the league table with just eleven points. A team of Chelsea's talent should not be this low in the table and if the manager was anyone other than Mourhino I think Abramovich would have sacked him by now. Mourhino though is a winner and has been a winner everywhere he has been, I personally firmly believe he will turn things around by Christmas but Chelsea need some wins and some confidence. Diego Costa, Fabregad, Willian, Hazard and Terry need to get their act together and Chelsea need to start playing football like they did last season.
Stoke City are not going to fear the visit of Chelsea for the League Cup last sixteen game as the Potters have never feared the bigger sides , especially at home at the Britannia. Mark Hughes is sure to put out a strong team in an effort to get Stoke to the quarter final and I think that the red and white will believe they can beat an out of sorts Chelsea. Stoke were a little unlucky at the weekend but prior to that loss Stoke had played excellently and won four of their last five. With Bojan back and pulling the strings Stoke look much more dangerous, I think they miss the pace and trickery of the injured Diouf but Arnautovich and Walters can both do a job through the center and will give that struggling Chelsea back line alot of problems on Tuesday night.
I am taking the overs here tonight. I think Stoke are a good bet on the outright but I just feel like the price for the overs looks a lock for me tonight. Stoke and Chelsea will both go for it from the off tonight and while Mourhino may ring the changes Stoke are likely to play a full strength team.
