On Tuesday Manchester City will look to take control of their Champions League group a win against Sevilla will all but guarantee their place in the knockout stages as long as Juventus avoid defeat in Germany. Manuel Pelligrini's side are in scintillating form domestically having won six of their last seven in all competitions. There are some question marks over City's perfromances though as three of those games included winners scored in the last minute of regular time or later. Withour Sergio Aguero City have struggled at times up front, Wilfred Bony and Kevin De Bruyne have done a decent job in replacing Aguero but it's tough to fully replace the brilliance of the little Argentine. Ya Ya Toure and Sterling have stepped their game up in teh absence of both Silva and Aguero but this is going to be a tough game against a very well organised team.
Sevilla will come into this game knowing they must get a result or they will be knocked out of the competition. A last minute winner for City in the game at the Ethiad was a cruel blow on a Sevilla team that had been pressing for a winner for the previous twenty minutes. With a strong squad that works hard for each other Sevilla have shown the qualities that brough them success in the europa Cup last season. Konoplyanko one of their summer signings has had a spectacular start to his Sevilla career and looked threathening every time he got on the ball against City last time out. The former Juve striker Llorente has struggled a little to settle but his quality is not doubted and he will provide goals over the season. Stephen Nzonzi and Gameiro will also provide plenty of strength through the center.
In my opinion the bookmakers have this one wrong. Sevilla were the better team in the first leg and should have won the first game only for a late break away by City and a brilliant finish by Kevin De Bruyne. Sevilla though were the better team and this line is just very generous to us. I'm going to take Sevilla to win the game , while Manchester City are a good team they have alot of deficiencies that were exploited by Sevilla in the first leg and here in Spain I think Sevilla get the win they need to keep their qualification hopes alive.
