It is do or die time for both Chelsea and Jose Mourhino, having lost three games in a row in all competitions the blues season is close to unravelling, if Mourhino and his players cant stop the bleeding here against Dynamo Kyiv. Chelsea have had a rough time of it lately losing to Liverpool at the weekend in an embarressing 3-1 loss. With Willian, Diego Costa, Hazard, Fabregas and Oscar there is an abundance of attacking talent here but the blues have just lost their way and need a win to get some confidence back. Chelsea will be taking a must win approach here to put them in charge of their own destiny within the group. Diego Costa could be facing yet another domestic ban after his kicking incident against Liverpool and the Brazilian born Spanish striker will be looking to get his season abck on track here against a Dynamo Kyiv team that will give up chances.
Dynamo Kyiv for their part wont just roll over at Stamford Bridge and while the Ukranian side may be out matched in terms of spending they make up for it in hard work. In the first game between the two Dynamo were the better team for long periods and will look to Yarmalenko , Kravets and Junior Moraes to take the game to Chelsea. Managed by former Tottenham striker Sergi Rebrov they will come here confident of being able to take something away from London and if they succeed then it will be Dynamo and not Chelsea who hold their destiny in their own hands.
After struggling the last few weeks this is a tough and important game for Chelsea. I am going to back the blues and their inegmatic manager to get a much needed win here. One that could kickstart their season, if the Blues fail to win here I see the exit door calling for Mourhino. But I dont think that is going to happen and I am going all in on Chelsea getting that much needed win.
