One of the match ups of the weekend in the Premier League will see West Ham United host Everton at Upton Park on Saturday afternoon. Only four points seperate West Ham in sixth from Everton in ninth. Everton have a good away record this season only losing once to Arsenal in a tight game where they easily could have come away with something. Roberto Maritinez side are a tough one to play against and they come into this game having won their last two to steady their form after losing two in a row to Manchester United and Arsenal. The Toffees have a strong squad Lukaku and Kone are all in fine goalscoring form and they are assisted by a hardworking midfield with McCarthy, Barkley, Deulofeu and Barkley providing both the creativity and the support from midfield. Everton are a good side and they will go to London looking for a win.
West Ham though come into this game having had one of their best starts to a Premier League season. A loss last weekend to Watford is probably the only stain on a near perfect away games run which has included wins over Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal. Slaven Bilic has been nothing short of revelutionary since taking over as boss in the summer. The former Croatia manager has his team playing with belief and playing attractive football, Andy Caroll's return has been a bonus but the form of Payet, Zarate, Noble and Sakho. After losing their opening two games at home the Hammers have now won two of the last three with a win over Chelsea last time out at Upton Park one of the highlights of a remarkable start to the season. This is a good team, hard to beat and with lots of attacking talent.
Taking the overs here. I feel like both teams have lots of attacking talent and while there is no doubt that it's going to be a tough game for both I see there being goals here. Four of West Ham's last five have gone over 2.5 goals and four of thei five home games have gone over the mark, in addition four of Everton's last five games have also gone over the 2.5 mark and their last three away games have gone over. The overs looks a really solid bet here and one I will be taking on Saturday.
