Can Wales continue their remarkable string of results against the top teams in Europe when they face a Netherlands side that were knocked out of the Euro's and are desperate to try to regain some pride for the jersey? Wales though are missing their two best players with Arsenal's Aaron Ramsey and Real Madrid's Gareth Bale missing through injury. That though will be a loss that Chris Coleman will deal with, his side work hard for each other and at the back Collins and Williams will still be tough to break down for the Netherlands.
Dani Blind's Netherlands will welcome back a fit Arjen Robben, the brilliant Bayern Munich midfielder was absent for most of the qualifying games and that is one of the reasons the dutch will not be in France 2016. With a strong squad named for the Wales game it will be interesting to see how the Netherlands perform. Robben is only likely to play this game of the two friendlies and hence the favourites tag on the Netherlands. Cardiff City Stadium will be rocking and no doubt with a quality front five of Depay, Blind, Robben, Dost and Huntelaar this dutch side will expect to come away with a win here.
No matter how strong this dutch team is I cant get their poor performances in the qualifiers out of my head. I'm taking Wales +1 here as I think the Welsh play as a unit and will have a passionate home support here. While the individuals may not be as talented the sum of their parts will be the key here for the Welsh as I see them getting something from this friendly. As with most friendlies though, just a min bet for interest.
