This one is finely balanced as Ireland and Bosnia played out a 1-1 draw over in Bosnia. Ireland have the away goal and therefore are in control of their own destiny a 0-0 draw is enough for Ireland to get themselves to the Euro2016 tournament in France. Ireland have some quality players with injury problems and those players Shane Long in particular were greatly missed in Bosnia. Jonathon Walters will be back from suspension though and will start through the center, where Daryl Murphy did ok on Friday night but wasnt as good as he needed to be as a center forward. Robbie Brady scored the goal for Ireland on Friday night but he will have to contribute more to the game as he was terrible for most of the game with the exception being the goal, in actual fact even his set pieces were very disappointing and that is what his speciality is. Martin O'Neill and Roy Keane have made a good managerial team thus far and Keane seems to have settled into his role as a number two very well. Ireland went to Bosnia with a game plan and it worked very well on Monday night it's going to be tricky with the home side knowing if they concede it changes the whole complexion of the game.
Bosnia Herzegovina's big guns just about delivered in the game on Friday night, Eden Dzeko scored the equalizing goal and played a captain's role in delivering in the end but throughout the game Dzeko was poor and Pjanic wasnt on the ball enough. Bosnia have better players than Ireland but they struggled to establish any sort of dominance in this game on Friday and if they dont play a more composed game in Dublin on Monday they simply will not come away with a result. Bosnia struggled at times to deal with Irelands physical presence from set pieces and with the return of the ultra physical johnaton walters I think Begovich and co could be in trouble here.
While I am definitely a little biased with regards to this game I seen enough on Friday night to make me think that the return of Walters, O'Shea and possibly Long will be enough to get Ireland a win here. This is a good Irish team, that beat Germany and drew with Poland at home in the Aviva Stadium. I think Martin O'Neill's team get a win here and go to their second success European Championships.
