The international break is now in its second week and Tuesday night is set to be a very exciting one. There are plenty of match on that night with many more interesting ones than the clash between Slovenia and Ukraine. That being said, this match is important for both teams, but more importantly has a lot of value in it.
This match is set to be very one sided. Ukraine are clearly the better side and they should dominate the game. This was evident in the first leg in Ukraine and the second leg should be no different.
Ukraine have a very good side and they were unlucky not to get direct qualification. This is a team that gave Spain a run for their money twice and were very consistent throughout the rest of the group stage only losing 3 games. That being said, they will be away from home but I think with a 2 goal buffer and confidence from their first leg win, they should get the job done.
Slovenia on the other hand are really strong at home and their home form is the only reason that they made it this far in the competition. That being said, they are two goals down and with no away goal, they will need to play very aggressively for the entire 90 minutes. This team has the potential to pull off an upset at home but it will be very tough considering how good Ukraine have been lately.
Ukraine are at over 2.70 which may seem like value but there is a possibility that they might park the bus and play for a draw. That is why I think that as the match line goes, the Draw is the best bet at 3.20. Ukraine are away from home so they will be at a disadvantage but I think that their defense will do the job and hang on. This Ukrainian defense has proven themselves before and they should do it again.
