With Belgium hosting Spain on Tuesday night we get to see the young pretenders - Belgium take on the reigning champions -Spain in what should be a terrific game of football between two extremely talented sides. There is no doubt that Beligum have one of the most talented squads on the planet and they have really hit form in recent months winning six on the bounce and they have also won their last seven friendlies. Belgium have some superbly taletned individuals with Manchester City's Kevin De Bruyne among the most inform players on the planet right now right up there with Ronaldo, Ozil, Lewandowski and Neymar. Alongside De Bruyne Belgium have Eden Hazard, Chelsea's PFA player of the years last year as he inspired the blues to the title. Hazard is a supreme talent but is struggling this year for form. With Belgium possessing so many talented players Eden could see himself move to the bench with Dembele, Witsel and Mirallas all looking for game time through the center. But Belgium have struggled a little up front and Everton hit man Lukaku could be the key to how this side ticks especially agaisnt a possession based team like Spain.
Spain may not be the same team that won the World Cup in 2010 but they are back to back European Champions and they have the ability and know how to get wins. Del Bosque may be slightly hamstringing his team with his loyalty to players like Casillas though who needs to move aside for the inform and frankly better keeper David De Gea. Spain though possess some exceptionally talented midfielders and Fabregas, Cazorla and Pedro ran rings around their english counterparts at times last Friday. I think they will hold onto alot of the ball here and Diego Costa looked sharp without scoring on Friday, he will give the Belgian defence plenty to think about as he is both a quality striker and link man.
This one is relaly difficult to call. I think that there is some value in taking the draw here though, I like how Beligum are progressing but I'm not prepared to take them against the ultimate possession team. Being a friendly and one we are likely to see lots of changes in this is just a min bet but I think the Spanish will come away from this with a point.
