Saturday will see two of the struggling side in the Premier League Swansea and Bournemouth meet at the Liberty Stadium in Wales. Swansea boss Gary Monk has been in the media this week denying he is about to be sacked a rumour started among the mainstream media but based on nothing but conjecture as far as I can ascertain. Swansea are struggling no doubt but they have been very unlucky in recent games, the Swans lost a Monday night game to Stoke after dominating the game but just failing to score on the night. Gomis and Ayew have looked a formidable partnership and Siguddson is having another terrific season alongside Jon Jo Shelvey who's good form has brought him back into the England fold. Swansea will turn this form around and the club would be crazy to sack a level headed , tactically sound manager like Monk.
While I think that Swansea will get themselves out of their current slump I have real fears for Bournemouth, the newly promoted side have lost five games on the bounce and are really struggling for goals. Bournemouth have fallen into the relegation zone and if they dont pick up some points soon they are going to find themselves in the midst of a relegation battle. Since the injury to Gradel and Wilson Bournemouth have really struggled to find the net, Kermorgant, Murray and Ritchie are their most likely scorers but I dont know if that is going to be enough. Defensively the team has also struggled of late conceding five on two occasions in their last five games.
I'm going to take Swansea to get the win here, I think they are simply the better side and we're getting a nice price on the Swans here at home where they did beat Manchester United earlier in the season.
