Huge game in Group E of the Champions League where all three teams could still qualify behind Barcelona. If Bate beat Bayer Leverkusen on Tuesday night they will more than likely go second in the table with a real chance to progress. Bate beat Roma in week two of the group when stunning the Italians with a lightening fast start and led 3-0 after thirty minutes. The Belarussian's will have an advantage in that they are used to playing in the sub zero temperatures and on Tuesday it's likely to be -1 for game time. With Signevich and Gordeychuk they have talented strikers but must take the game similar to the way they attacked Roma. Bate played well against Barcelona in both games but the Spanish side's quality came through in the end.
Bayer Leverkusen come into this game having won just one of their last four. The German side have struggled a little lately but their summer signing Javier "Chicarito" Hernandez has been on fire for his new side. The former Manchester United striker has scored ten goals in his last eight games and has scored in eight consequtive games. Hernandez is an out and out finisher and was a superb signing for Bayer, Manchester United may regret letting the Mexican international go now considering their current striker shortage but such is the game.
Tough game here to call, I'm going to take both teams to score though and I think that Bayer Leverkusen might just sneak a 2-1 win. I think it's better value to take both teams to score than to take Leverkusen outright. At 7/10 the away side are too short in my opinion.
