Monday night football from Goodison Park as Everton play host to Crystal Palace in what should be a really good game of football. Everton come into this game unbeaten in their last six and have only lost at home twice this season to both Manchester Clubs. The Toffees have been in fine form of late led by the goals of Ross Barkley and Romalu Lukaku who has been on fire this season with ten goals this season and six in his last five games. With Barkley finally producing consistantly and MccArthy and BArry protecting the back four this is an Everton team that are very difficult to beat and are playing great football under Roberto Martinez. Everton if they win on Monday night will move up to sixth in the league, after a poor start to the season that would be a remarkable turn around for a team that is looking strong and getting better week on week.
Crystal Palace will go to Monday night's game full of confidence though after they dismantled Newcastle last weekend. Bolasie was superb last week and when he is in this type of form he is almost unplayable. Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew will be looking for more consistancy in their away performances as they have won four and lost three away this season. With Zaha, Gayle and Bolasie there is serious pace and attacking threat going forward for Palace. Alan Pardew will know that Everton have been excellent in recent weeks but I dont think Palace will be any less confident going into this one, on their day palace can play agaisnt anyone and Crystal Palace already have wins against Chelsea and Liverpool away from home this season.
Going to take both teams to score here as I see both teams having alot of attacking threat here and it's going to be difficult for either defence to manage this must attacking talent. I hope that this game ends up being an open affair rather than two teams bottling the midfield up and battling out a 0-0 draw. I do think the draw is a decent play as well but both teams to score is the value bet for me here.
