Arsenal will look to get their title challenge back on track when they take on Bournemouth on Monday. Arsenal were embarressed on Saturay when Southampton completely outplayed them and won the game 4-0, the Saints exposed some serious problems at the back that Arsenal have and that is Per Mertesecker against pacey opponents. Arsenal struggled to deal with Shane Long the entire night and Bournemouth may look to focus on that perceived weakness when the two meet on Monday. With Walcott, Campbell, Ozil and Giroud though there is plenty of attacking talent here in this Arsenal side to be able to take on the surging newboys. Arsene Wenger knows his side gifted away the three points they gained against Manchester City when they lost on Saturday and with Leicester playing Manchester City on Tuesday he knows his side have a real opportunity to take top spot.
Bournemouth are unbeaten in their last six games and have wins over Manchester United and Chelsea over that span, they will not fear a trip to the Emirates but Eddie Howe must be careful not to be too expansive against this Arsenal team as Arsenal's pace and counter attacking skills can really hurt if allowed to. Bournemouth have managed to find the net ten times in the last six games and the team seems to have finally recovered from the loss of Wilson. Murray, King and Stanislas have all found the net in recent weeks and they will look to expose an Arsenal back line that have not been great of late.
Interesting game here, Arsenal definitely deserve favouritism but at 2/5 I cant see any value in taking the gunners. I'm going instead to take the overs here. I think that both teams will get on the scoresheet here, not sure if Bournemouth can continue their unbeaten streak but I think they will give it a good go. Arsenal better be careful not to under estimate this team as Bournemouth will work their socks off and can be a match for anyone work wise.
