An epic FA Cup encounter from Vicarage road as Watford host Newcastle United. Watford have lost two in a row but are having a terrific season and with on of the best strike partnerships in the league in Ighalo and Deeney, the Hornets have a chance in every game they play this season. Ighalo has been sensational and has scored fourteen goals this season, he is the pace player who plays off the shoulder of his strike partner Deeney who is one of the best hold up players in the league at the moment. Watford can definitely look at this game as a chance to get through to the next round Newcastle have been struggling all season and have now lost their last three games in a row. Watford were very unlucky not to beat both Tottenham and Manchester City in their last two league games. This is a side full of confidence even though they did lose their last two games and I fully expect them go all out for the win here.
Newcastle manager Steve Mclaren may have one eye on the upcoming fixtures as they face a tough home games against Manchester United and West Ham before a repeat of this fixture in the league and then an away fixture at Everton. Newcastle are currently in the relegation zone and are two points from safety with the congested fixture list I think Steve Mclaren may well rest some of his starters as points in the league are far more important to Newcastle at this moment in time. With talents like Mitrovic, Perez, Cissokho and Wijnaldum it's tough to see why Newcastle are in the relegation zone but this is a tough league and if you make poor decisions and make mistakes then you will be punished. This FA cup game could very well be a welcomed distraction for the magpies.
At 4/5 I think this is a wonderful price for Watford to get a win here. Watford have been excellent at home all season and while Newcastle are one of those teams that if they play well could cause Watford lots of problems I feel like Watford are going to press hard here and get a win to move them through to the next round.
