Probably the match up of the weekend in the FA Cup will see high flying Leicester City travel to White Hart Lane to take on a similarly in form Tottenham Hotspur. In regards to league standards this is two versus four in the Premier League and should be a cracking encounter. Leiester City will be missing jamie vardy as the striker strained a muscle and looks st to miss a couple of weeks. Mahrez, Ulloa and Okazaki though are well capable of filling in for the front man and I think Nathan Dyer may have a bigger role in the team if Vardy is absent for long. Claudio Ranieri will look to get his side a good cup run to compliment their amazin league run. The fact is the foxes will think that they can go a long way in this competition but this is probably as tough an opening round game as they could have gotten.

Tottenham themselves come into this game having lost just one game in their last fourteen in all competitions and Pochettino's side look to me like a team that could give the Premier League a go this season. With Arsenal, Manchester City and Leicester all looking fallible in recent weeks, if Tottenham can put together some wins over the next four games then they could find themselves in a race for the title. Harry Kane, Delli Alli and Dembele have been sensational this season and with Son, Erikson and Lamela also having super seasons this is a team that as a whole are going to be tough to contain. Defensively they have the best team in the league, led by their captain and goalkeeper Hugo Lloris this is a whole package squad. Can they get the win here against a solid Leicester side?

I am on the fence here, these two play each other again on Wednesday in the Premier League. Which game would Tottenham prefer to win? I think the legaue game means more to this group of players right now, but the FA Cup is magical and has alot of allure for the fans and the players alike. I think that both these teams go out here and go for it , they will not want a replay and I am going to take both teams to score in what should be a really good game between two well matched teams.
