The game of the weekend in the Barclays Premier League will see Chelsea travel across London to take on Arsenal. Chelsea have had a rough season and it seen the end of the second Jose Mourhino era at Stamford Bridge, which personally I think was a mistake. Earlier in the year Chelsea beat Arsenal at home when Diego Costa managed to get underneath Gabriel's skin, getting the Arsenal center back sent off and the blues took full advantage winning 2-0. Costa will again be at the centre of the Chelsea's game plan, Eden Hazard is not having a good season and cesc Fabregas has also struggled this year. Willian and Oscar have both been in good form of late with the latter comign to the fore once Mourhino was sacked. To be fair to Willian he has been excellent all season but Chelsea's year has been a struggle and the defending Champions are not going to defend their crown. Chelsea can however play spoiler and it could start here.
Arsenal come into this game three points behind league leaders Leicester City, the Gunners must keep the pressure up as Manchester City slipped up on Saturday evening. Arsene Wenger had never beaten Jose Mourhino but Wenger has a great record against Chelsea when they are not managed by Mourhino. Giroud, Walcott and Ozil will be key for Arsenal in front of a packed Emirates. Alexis Sanchez should be back from injury but the Chilean will probably not start in this must win game. He will be available from the bench barring a set back though and he is a game changer. Arsenal of course will be led by former Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech who has been a huge success since his move from the blues. Arsenal have won seven of ten home games and havent lost at home since losing on the opening weekend against West Ham.
Chelsea are unbeaten in the league since Gus Hiddink took over, three wins and four draws. The blues are hard to work out, they definitely have talent throughout their squad but they are not playing at the same level as Arsenal right now. I think at evens Arsenal at home are one of the best bets of the weekend. It's just impossible to take Chelsea here, as good as they have been at times under Hiddink they havent really played any of the top teams. Manchester United are offensively challenged and last week against Everton they fluked a draw in the last minute. Arsenal look too good here and the Gunners can lay down their title credentials with an impressive win here.
